As I was building a post for the week of New Year’s labeled “my favorite spiralized recipes of 2014,” I thought it would be helpful to do a roundup of my favorite recipes by vegetable.

When people ask me, “What’s your favorite Inspiralized recipe?” it’s so difficult to answer, because I have so many favorites – and they all have to do with season, what I’m in the mood for and of course, what kind of vegetable I’m spiralizing.

Alas, I’m going down the list and sharing my favorites of 2014 with you today.

  • Oh man, like you I have so many 'favorites' I really can't pick one! I'd feel awful playing favorites... I always write the date and a comment in the upper rt-hand corner of the recipe, and file them in a 3-ring notebook - in order of when I made it (instead of the usual alphabetical order). So many of the comments are along the lines of "this is a 5 star!" or "make again soon". NOT ONE has "yuk" or "what a waste of calories/time/energy", as do some of the recipes in my other, (non-spiralized recipes), notebook. Keep up the good work! ~ruth
    • You're very organized, I could learn a thing or two from you! Happy Holidays, Ruth - thanks for the kind comment!
  • Love your site as always!! My hubby just got me the gefu hand spiralizer, which doesnt have as great reviews as the one you use..but I dont want to tell him that lol Can't wait to try some recipes!!
    • Aw, it's okay! You'll still be able to eat veggie noodles - that's the whole point! Can't wait to see what you make, Samantha!
  • my favorite will always be your sweet potato noodle buns !!!! Although, I haven't made something from here that I didn't like, so they are getting some tough competition !
  • I have to admit, the recipe I have made the most both at home and to take to a party is the Zucchini Carpaccio with Avocado Pistachio Dressing. I add carrots and sweet and hot peppers and onion, but the dressing is the same... oh other than sometimes I add smoked paprika! This is always a winner! Thank you so much for showing me how versatile the spiralizer is and how easy too! I have recommended the Spiralizer and your website to many people! Happiness an Good Health to You in 2015!
    • Thank you for the kind words and I'm so happy to hear that you like that recipe! All the best to you too!
  • Please show in a video clearly along with the blade picture on how to make c shape cut onions..
    • We recommend Blade A for onions. You can see a demo of spiralizing an onion with the Inspiralizer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3MZ3jG6mMk
