It’s no secret that I love Soul Cycle. What’s Soul Cycle? It’s where you go to have the best spin ride of your life. I mean it! Soul Cycle is a spin studio, started in NYC and has been rapidly expanding all over the country (even as far as California!)
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll notice that I’m a “soul rider.” If you live in a city where they have a studio and you haven’t tried it yet, I really recommend you do.
Life changing.
The best part about Soul Cycle is the atmosphere. The lights are dimmed (or off!) and the music is heart-pounding and exciting. The soundtrack really gets you revved up for an incredible workout.
Part of that atmosphere includes the instructor. I’ve tried other spin studios in the city and in NJ and I’ve never had as inspirational, motivational and fun instructors as I do at Soul Cycle.
In fact, I have a favorite instructor. Her name is Krista. She’s a tiny ball of intensity! Her classes are tough and you’ll work for that workout. You’ll sweat the hardest you’ll ever sweat and at the end, somehow, you feel light, rejuvenated and ready to conquer your day (or end the day on a high note!)
When Soul Cycle and I got together to discuss a collaboration, I of course suggested building a recipe for my favorite instructor (Krista!) We met at their Short Hills, NJ location, snapped a picture together and rode our hearts out. She sent me a list of her favorite ingredients (she’s a vegetarian!) and I came up with this recipe.
I love promoting a healthy lifestyle here at Inspiralized and since Soul Cycle is my favorite way to stay fit, I figured I’d share that with you. While diet is crucial, a balanced exercise plan is just as important.
You can find this recipe over at the Soul Cycle community.
NOTE: While Soul Cycle provided me with complimentary classes at their NYC and NJ studios, all opinions are my own and I was a fan of their brand prior to this collaboration.
Are you a fan of Soul Cycle? Have you tried it yet?
