As you probably know, tomorrow is Memorial Day. Who doesn’t love Memorial Day? It’s the unofficial start of summer – pools open, weekend barbecues begin and it’s socially acceptable to wear white.
Last summer was the first summer Lu and I lived together. Bless his heart, he spent every weekend with me holed up in coffee shops, working on my Inspiralized business plans, while everyone else was outside enjoying the gorgeous summer weather. He kept me company while I blogged all day long on a Saturday, when everyone else was out having drinks on patios, swimming in pools and on the beach.
Now that I’ve found my groove, my weekends this summer will be more free and I’m excited to drive down the shore (yes, we call it the shore) and finally enjoy the beautiful pool our building has.
Most importantly, I’m ready to throw some barbecues, full of Inspiralized food!
