21 Spiralized Recipes With 5 Ingredients or Less

The last few months of the year always fly by — once fall hits, we’re all caught up in everything fall: pumpkin shopping, apple-picking weekends, getting cozy, and enjoying this new time of the year.

Then comes November, Thanksgiving hits, and then the year really flies by, because #theholidays.

We tend to put our healthy lifestyle on the back-burner, while our busy social schedules take over. Well, you can kiss that excuse goodbye today, because I’m sharing 21 easy spiralized recipes that use five ingredients or less, for the busiest of days, when you just want to order takeout.

Some of the recipes in this roundup aren’t exactly five ingredients, because they include pantry items (ie garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil.) You get the picture!

Cheers to staying on our healthy track, even with the temptation of scarfing down pumpkin-flavored everything.

  • This post is exactly what I need right now trying to juggle so much at once but still put healthy food on the table! It's like you read my mind. As always your recipes look amazing, can't wait to try some :)
    • Thank you so much, Sarah! Glad you enjoyed this roundup!
  • Wow, I've never seen the Caramelized Onion and Bacon Kohlrabi Spaghetti with Shaved Parmesan recipe before! How did I miss that? Haha. That might be my next Inspiralized conquest. Any excuse to caramelize a batch of onions. Mmmmmmm. ;-)
    • This is my favorite! Do try it.
  • Great round up! Pinned to my "weeknight dinners" board! Some good throwbacks in there !!! That butternut squash kale and bacon pasta?!? Sign me up!
  • Good morning, I realize creating/selecting/and posting recipes is very much a balancing act trying to keep everyone happy and coming back for more, but today was way heavy the S.A.D. diet and not enough for us Vegan's. Disappointing. Hopefully we will get more next time!
    • Just curious how you thought these were all "standard American diet?" I feel that they're veggie heavy and there is always a vegeTarian option. Didn't see anything fried, very low sugar and preservative heavy food... just curious?
  • My only problem with this list I don't know what to make first! :) Thanks for putting this together, will be rotating throughout all of these!
  • Perfect post for this season. So many times I come home hungry and tired and just make scrambled eggs because it's easy. I feel like with a little bit of spiral prep on the weekend, so many of these recipes will be new go-to's. Thanks Ali!
  • You come up with the best recipes, and I'm hoping for another :) Our office is having a Halloween party (my least favorite holiday) and we are all to bring something pumpkin. I am going to take "pumpkin brains" (homemade pimento cheese), but as has been pointed out already, although it is the color of pumpkin, it isn't made from pumpkin nor does it taste like pumpkin. So, I am wondering if pumpkin can be spiralized and made into a soup, stew, or stirfry, or rice for some other kind of dish, and if so, can you give me some suggestions? The "wasband" could close his eyes and imagine the taste different foods and seasonings would produce. Me -- I need a recipe to start with and then I can embellish from there. Thanks!
