roma and luca LOVE to play with my makeup. 💄 pretty much, they just tickle their cheeks with my brushes 🧒🏼👧🏻
whenever my toddlers ask to wear my makeup, I immediately say, "no, you don't need makeup!" but it always makes me think: what message am I sending? that I "need" makeup? sometimes, I'll say, "makeup is for mommies' skin, your skin is too sensitive, you could get an ouchie! when you're older, you can wear it." but that's also kinda.... scary! 🤔
I haven't ever really thought of how I want to position makeup to my kids, and I'm curious.... how do you explain makeup when your little ones ask? I'd love to hear!
