My mom gifted me a spiralizer for my birthday and I have since been addicted! Planning to make this tomorrow night, but I’m wondering – what size butternut squash did you use? I have yet to spiralize a butternut squash and can’t quite guess how many noodles a small, medium, vs. large squash might yield. Can’t wait to try this!

In reply to Kathy. 7-10 minutes - after 7 minutes, check the consistency every couple of minutes to make sure that you don't overdo them!

Lisa, go to How to Spiralize and you’ll see what I mean! It actually says “peeled, Blade C” which means that the butternut squash should be peeled and then Blade C on the spiralizer should be used to create the noodles. Hope this helps – it’s a great recipe, I hope you try it!

I’m trying to figure out where butternut squash noodles come from. The recipe says one butternut squash but then in the directions it says butternut squash noodles. How did the squash transform into pasta? i am missing a step. But this looks fabulous so I want to fill in the gap. 🙂
