Crunchy Zucchini Noodle Wrap with Feta & Avocado

Healthy Crunchy Spiralized Veggie Noodle Wraps

Did you ever think the day would come where I’d use a wheat wrap in one of my recipes? Bet not. Well, today I’m sharing with you what I eat for lunch on a pretty regular basis: spiralized veggie noodle wraps.

When you first start off with a spiralizer, you can’t help but want to make every one of your favorite pasta and noodle dishes into a spiralized (or, ehem, Insprialized) version. After a while, you start to realize that spiralizing veggies is more than a replacement for carby, wheat noodles: it’s a revolutionary way to taste and experience vegetables.

Spicy Garlic Lump Crab Butternut Squash Pasta with Feta & Parsley

Spicy Garlic Lump Crab Butternut Squash Pasta with Feta & Parsley

Once, my mother and I ordered champagne and lump crab meat at an airport. I actually forget where we were going, but we felt special. There’s something about lump crab meat that’s fancy.

I like to think that this spiralized butternut squash pasta dish is regal. The feta and parsley look stunning on top of the orange noodles and the flavors… well, the flavors are fit for a King (or in my case, a Queen!)

My friend Katie recently launched a fashion blog devoted to styling women with different body types, hence the name of her site: PearShapedGirl.com. While I can whip up a mean bolognese in the kitch, I can’t find my way out of a Gap. Simply, I feel more comfortable holding a spatula than a clutch and sexier in an apron than stilettos. Luckily, Katie wanted to style me in exchange for a recipe for her blog – what a deal!

While everything I make on this blog is from fresh and healthy ingredients, I understand that sometimes a pasta or pasta salad might be too much when you’re in the mood for something super light. This is what I love about the spiralizer – it’s completely versatile! I like salads, but now that I’ve become Inspiralized, I’ve learned to be more creative with my ingredients and create salads that use the same ingredients but offer more textures, shapes and therefore flavors (yes, foods taste different depending on how they’re cut or not cut.)
