I’m writing this post before I go on HSN, but once this post goes live, I’ll be done with my live debut on HSN! I’m sending myself positive, successful vibes now!
It’s tough eating out for nearly every single meal while you’re traveling, but I did it, took pictures, and now I’m sharing it with you all so you can see what I eat while I travel – and I’m also sharing some of my favorite workout gear as of late.
What I Ate Today, January 23, 2017
- Acai bowl from Karma Juice Bar with gluten-free granola, blueberries, bananas, chia seeds, and a drizzle of almond butter
We went to Locale Market, and after circling the place for 15 minutes, I landed on this meal: quinoa, curried cauliflower, steamed broccoli, and avocado.
We went to a coffee shop to do more work (like write this blog post) and I had some chamomile caffeine-free tea with a handful of almonds from a bag of raw almonds I brought with me! I ate way more almonds than pictured below, but that’s what it looked like when I took the picture 🙂
I brought a bunch of Noka Organics packs and this was my last one! I like the Sweet Potato flavor better (it’s less sweet and has a bit thicker consistency), but this one got it done!
We ate at the hotel! I had a butternut squash soup to start (vegan) and a turkey burger with avocado on a whole wheat bun and a side of fruit!
My Favorite Workout Gear Lately
I workout a lot (have you seen my @getinspiralized Instagram account?) If you’ve read any of my fit journey stories, you know that I love working out not only to keep toned and fit, but to feel good from the inside out. It gives me energy, makes me feel strong, and brings me mental sanity, especially before or after a busy, crazy day.
I’m always on the lookout for great workout gear – and since many of you always ask me where I get some of my stuff, I figured I’d roundup some of my favorites lately. This isn’t a sponsored post, by the way – it’s just literally the stuff I’m loving and want to share with all of you!
2 – The studio tank that’s fitted, but doesn’t show everything, the Mesh Inversion Tank from Athleta. I recently purchased this, and it has such a cute strappy back, so it conceals my sports bra straps, and it contours to your back and is super flattering around the midsection – it’s got that elasticity that softens while it flexes.
3 – The headband that’ll stay on your head, the Fly Away Tamer Headband II from Lululemon. Pretty self explanatory – it does the trick, whether I’m running, spinning or doing yoga.
4 – The tank that doesn’t roll-up and is nice and long, the Finish Fast Tank from Athleta. I recently bought this in four different colors, because it’s amazing – it has a rubber stick on the bottom so it won’t roll up (perfect for yoga or even running) and is super long, so if you have a long torso, this tank is a Godsend. It’s super tight, so if you’re looking to flaunt, it definitely flaunts it all!
5 – The perfect mid-rise capris with some flair, the Spacedye Criss Cross Chaturanga Capri from Athleta. I know, more Athleta, but their stuff is on point this season! These hit perfectly on the waist and I love the criss-cross detail at the bottom. They’re breathable and have just enough stretch to flatter your bum, while not being super shiny – I love the material and the deep gray color.
6 – THE BEST SPORTS BRA FOR MY BUSTY GIRLS, the Panache Underwire Sports Bra. Full disclosure: I’m a 34DDD. My boobs are big, and I do a LOT of jumping around, whether in HIIT moves or running. This sports bra straps them in, while shaping them so you don’t get that uni-boob, smooshy look (I HATE that!) It’s comfortable, and the back hooks so that you can wear all the cute workout tanks that are racerback. I swear by this bra – I wish I could buy stock in Panache, because they really nailed it here. It comes in some relatively cute colors – but it’s 1000% functional, and my ta-tas don’t budge in this bra.
7 – The shoe you wear to and from the gym or when doing anything, the Charged Pivot Midi by Under Armour. You may have seen me wear these like every single day on @inspiralizedali and that’s because they are the world’s most comfortable shoes – whether you’re wearing them to and from the gym or running errands and looking sporty and chic – they’re gorgeous and definitely worth the price tag. Never have I received so many compliments when out than I have with these sneaks!
8 – The longer capri for chillier days or to look cute during yoga while tucking in the pooch, the High-Rise Chaturanga Tropical Mesh 7/8 Tights. I seriously can’t get enough of Athleta – and their high-rise is perfectly high rise. It tucks everything in, firms you up, and these 7/8 tights hit slightly above the ankle, so they look chic enough so you feel cool running errands in them after a workout class. I’m obsessed with this tropical print, but I also bought them in gray, here.
9 – The sports bra for just enough support when you’re busty for yoga and errands, the Movement Bralette by Athleta. When I go to yoga, I don’t want my Panache bra on – I just don’t need that much support, and the underwire isn’t comfortable when I’m twisting like a pretzel. I need something less restrictive, and this is the only sports bra I’ve found that doesn’t completely smoosh me into a uniboob, looks cute with trendy workout tops, and supports me and protects my cleavage. It’s also great when you run errands or come home from a tough day and just need to let those puppies out but want a little support.
10 – The best bluetooth earbuds out there, the Powerbeats3 Wireless In-Ear Headphones by Beats. These never fail – they always stay in my ear, the music quality is amazing, they come in stylish colors, and they’re bluetooth. The best.
