...Friday, after work, I went into NYC to TriBeCa to meet my sister and my mom to try on wedding dresses at Lovely Bride, an adorable boutique. my sister mayyyy have found THE dress. after that, we went out to dinner and met up with Lu and her fiancé Ben in Jersey City. got fro-yo after, then we hung out at Felicia's place for a bit and then came home and went to bed!

this weekend….

Friday, after work, I went into NYC to TriBeCa to meet my sister and my mom to try on wedding dresses at Lovely Bride, an adorable boutique. my sister mayyyy have found THE dress. after that, we went out to dinner and met up with Lu and her fiancé Ben in Jersey City. got fro-yo after, then we hung out at Felicia’s place for a bit and then came home and went to bed!

Saturday, we went to yoga, which felt amazing because I hadn’t been in 3 weeks. afterwards, we went to our usual brunch spot in Jersey City (it was me, Lu, and my friend Shannon joined us.) from there, I had a very, very productive Saturday. I spring-cleaned my entire wardrobe, which felt so refreshing. I had 3 bags of donation clothes/shoes! I did laundry and then we went to the supermarket to buy groceries for Easter, donated the clothes, and went to Target to get some cute decor for Easter. after that, I got my nails done and then we met up with Felicia & Ben for dinner at a local Italian spot we’d been meaning to check out. I got eggplant parm and stuffed shells. definitely NOT #inspiralized. after that, we came home, watched A Bronx Tale (great movie!) and passed out.

Sunday, we woke up early (7:30am), and I met my sister for a workout. around 9:30am, my mom came and then I cleaned my apartment and set the Easter table (we had Easter in my office, because I have a dining table there.) I showered, got ready, and then everyone came over for Easter. we hung out, had dinner, and had way too much dessert. my family left around 9pm and Lu and I pretty much passed out on the couch. it was a great day with family, but definitely exhausting!

what I’m into RN…

I’m already starting to shop for the babymoon (we’re going to Hawaii and I’m so excited!), and I’m loving this sarong.

how 3 successful women spend their first hour at work. very interesting.

I finally bought a Vitamix (this one) and I am patiently waiting for it to arrive.

I used this facial scrub this morning and my skin smells and feels amazing.

this pizza stuffed zucchini has my name written all over it.

see you next week!

with love, Ali
