Spiralized Bell Pepper Taco Skillet + It’s Cookbook Week!

Spiralized Bell Pepper Taco Skillet

Inspiralize Everything Cookbook

It’s officially Inspiralize Everything cookbook week!

Yes, my second cookbook, Inspiralize Everything, comes out tomorrow – and to celebrate, the cookbook is taking over the blog for the week, starting today.

If you pre-ordered the cookbook already make sure that you claim your pre-order bonus packet! And because I love you all, I’m going to extend the bonus packet to those who order for the next 2 weeks! Click below to enter your confirmation code (no matter where you pre-ordered) and instantly download the pre-order packet!

Remember, the pre-order packet contains the following:

  • My 7 Tips For Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle
  • Sauces & Dressings Pairings Guide for Spiralized Vegetables
  • 3 Recipes from Inspiralize Everything
  • 3 Ways to Make Spiralized Pizza (with two bonus recipes with photos!)
  • 20% off coupon code to use on the Inspiralizer

So what should you expect for the blog this week in celebration of Inspiralize Everything? Here’s a breakdown day-by-day:

  • Tuesday: COOKBOOK RELEASE DATE! I’ll be hosting a #inspiralizeeverythingselfie contest (take a selfie with your cookbook or a shot with the book like this) and be offering amazing giveaways. I’ll also be going over all of the contests and ways you can participate on social media to celebrate the cookbook with me. I’ll have a special Snapchat filter and my cookbook release party that evening. For those of you who can’t make it, don’t worry – we’ll be Snapchatting the heck out of it! Snapchat username is inspiralized, of course.
  • Wednesday: “Cook the Cookbook” starts today! I’m going to post my schedule of meals (I’ll be cooking a recipe from the cookbook every day in August) and there will be fun contests and giveaways for those who participate! I’ll also be sharing another recipe video!
  • Thursday: Since not all veggies are readily available year-round (ie celeriac/celery root), I’ll be giving my tips on how to “summerize” some of the recipes in the book so you can make them now, during the summer!
  • Friday: I’ll be rounding up all of the blog posts from my other blogger friends who are reviewing the cookbook! I’ll also be sharing another recipe video (my Vegan Zucchini Raviolis with Tomato Basil Sauce- my favorite recipe in the cookbook!)

Inspiralize Everything Cookbook

Also, I’ll be Facebook-Living all week, so make sure you’re following us on Facebook. Here’s my Facebook Live schedule:

  • Tuesday: There will be TWO Facebook Live events:
    • 3:00pm EST: I’ll be cooking for the cookbook, preparing for the release party (I’m cooking all the video for the party – I’m crazy, right?!) Get a sneak peek into the cookbook recipes and join me in my kitchen.
    • 6:15pm EST: Join us at the Inspiralize Everything cookbook release party in NYC! We’ll be live streaming, showing the venue, the spiralized deliciousness, and I’ll be welcoming you- so join virtually!
  • Wednesday: 8:30pm EST – ask me anything about spiralizing, Inspiralized, the cookbook, whatever! This will be an open Q&A, so submit your questions and I’ll answer them live.
  • Thursday: 7:00pm EST – grab your cookbook, order your ingredients, and join me for dinner as I cook Celeriac Spaghetti with Vegetarian Meatballs, but “summerize” it using zucchini noodles instead!
  • Friday: 12:00pm EST, I’ll be talking through one of my “7 Tips for Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle” from the pre-order bonus packet! If you have any questions about leading a healthy lifestyle, I’ll be there to answer any and ALL questions!

In addition to all of this, I’ll be at the Union Square Farmer’s Market (in New York City) starting at 11:00am. I’ll be signing books, spiralizing your veggies, and offering pesto zucchini noodles to sample! Stop by with your cookbook (or buy one there – we’ll have some for sale!)

Once you have your hands on the book, I’d love for you to share on your own social media channels! The official cookbook hashtag is: #inspiralizeeverything and I’ll be checking it every day to regram my favorites!

That’s the breakdown! I hope you join me every day and have fun as I celebrate the release of my second cookbook. Now, without further ado, here’s a sneak peek at a recipe from the cookbook, one of my personal favorites, the Bell Pepper Taco Skillet, which is easy to make vegetarian-friendly (for example, add black and pinto beans instead of the beef!) For the full recipe, check out page 52 in Inspiralize Everything!

There will be new YouTube videos all week, so make sure you’re subscribed so you receive alerts when new videos are posted!

Cathy says:
Ali, You have such a joy for all you do. Your success is well deserved and has been won by your hard work. Keep the excitement going. Cathy
Ali Maffucci says:
Thanks for the kindness, Cathy!
Michelle says:
This looks so good! I cant find an ingredient list on the website though...am I not looking in the right place? Congrats on the cookbook release!
Ali Maffucci says:
Michelle - the recipe is in the cookbook, it's not shared on the blog - it's just a teaser video to give you a feel for what types of recipes are in the book!
Eden says:
LOVE the video! Can't wait to get my cookbook tomorrow. I ordered a copy for my daughter who just got married in January, and another copy for my son-in-law's mom who also wants to get into Spiralizing!
Carol says:
My book is due tomorrow! I hope it arrives on time, because I want to make this one this week. My body won't digest peppers, so I'm doing it with zucchini. Can't wait! Am I the only one who can't download the PRE-ORDER PACKET? My virus protection won't let me go to the site. Is there something I don't understand? Definitely not a computer expert. Thanks.
Annie says:
Hi, Maybe you can answer my question! Why is Spiralizing so good? Why can’t I use my grader instead for the same food, or lightly use my food chopper? Thanx
Wanda says:
Hi Ali, I preordered your book a couple of weeks ago in the Netherlands. Didn't receive it yet but the retailer isn't mentioned above. Can I provide my order details and receive the bonus package as well?
Milah Lynn says:
I ordered 2 spiralizers and your new cook book. I did not receive the bonus pkg, but I guess because I ordered directly from Amazon. I gave the 2 gifts as birthday presents and my friends were thrilled. I browsed the new book that I received today and I am excited for new recipes.
Avril says:
What day will you be at the farmers market in NYC?
Tricia Roderick says:
Thank you for all of the work and time you put into your recipes. I cook with you all the time and your recipes are always quick, simple and delicious. And on a different note, where did you get the pink and white off-the-shoulder top with the sleeve ties you are wearing in this e-mail? Adorable! A must have for my upcoming back-home visit to Florida next month! Thanks Ali! Tricia
Ali Maffucci says:
I linked to it in the post! http://rstyle.me/n/bw6v7ibqbvf

air fried shrimp tacos with pineapple mango salsa and guacamole, another meal made fully from a @wholefoods shop! 🌮🍍🥑🍤⁣

~ corn tortillas⁣
~ guacamole⁣
~ pineapple & mango salsa (fresh prepared foods)⁣
~ sliced red cabbage (pre-sliced container)⁣
~ @sirkensingtons chile lime crema⁣
~ cleaned & deveined shrimp ⁣
~ panko breadcrumbs ⁣

preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees. dredge the shrimp in egg and dip in panko (toss the panko with paprika, onion, chili, & garlic powder, salt, and cumin.) add in a single layer to the air fryer and cook for 7-10 minutes, flipping halfway through (they’re done when golden brown and C-shaped.) spread some guacamole on the tortillas and top with shrimp, cabbage tossed with juiced lime, pineapple mango salsa, and drizzle with the bottled crema. easy peasy! 👏🏼 ⁣

what’s your favorite easy weeknight taco combo? 🌮 #inspiralizedwholefoodsmealideas

super easy lunch idea, made (almost) entirely from the freezer and 100% from @wholefoodsmarket, so next time you go there to shop, grab the following items and make this Teriyaki Tofu and Pepper Riced Cauliflower Stir Fry👇🏼👇🏼

~ frozen riced cauliflower, stir fry style⁣
~ frozen three pepper blend (sliced bell peppers)⁣
~ organic teriyaki sauce⁣
~ @wildwoodfoods teriyaki baked tofu⁣
~ for garnish: white sesame seeds, red pepper flakes⁣

heat a tablespoon of neutral oil in a medium skillet. add the bag of riced cauliflower and sauté until softened to your preference (about 5 minutes for rice-like, IMHO.) set the cauliflower aside in a bowl. add a couple handfuls of bell pepper strips and half the package of tofu, cubed. pour over some teriyaki sauce (I use about 1/3 cup), stir, and let cook until peppers are totally soft, another 3 to 5 minutes. top the riced cauliflower with the teriyaki tofu and peppers. garnish with sesame seeds and red pepper flakes. enjoy!⁣ 🥡

do you like easy meal ideas like this from specific grocery stores? 🤔 I'll start a hashtag for them - this one will be #inspiralizedwholefoodsmealideas

probably my favorite part of parenthood is seeing life through my children’s’ eyes. everything is new and they live a life of exciting discovery. and nothing beats the merriment of Christmastime! 🎄🎅🏻 luca and roma had a blast ice skating today in NYC - luca got the hang of it quickly and he loved pushing roma on the little plastic bear seats they had at @rinkatbrookfieldplacenyc. ⛸❄️ the twins were angels and slept the whole time, so I could be present with my older kids. 👼🏻👼🏻

and we’re building a holiday bucket list calendar, what should we add to it (aside from meeting santa? 😉)

cauliflower and carrot masala, totally normal meal on thanksgiving eve, right? 😅🥄

tomorrow we’re going to my BIL’s to hang out with Lu’s side of the family, and I’m excited to see everyone (it’s been YEARS!) and have the kids spend time with their cousins, aunts and uncles 🙏🏼

for the curry, simmer cauliflower, carrots, a jar of @mayakaimalfoods, and 2 cups of @bonafideprovisions veggie broth in a large pot for 20 minutes or until thickened to your preference. add cooked lentils, stir, and serve with jasmine rice, chutney and toasted naan. easy 30 minute meal 👏🏼 not exactly thanksgiving-friendly, but worth a share!

safe travels today and tomorrow and wishing everyone a safe and happy thanksgiving 🦃 I’m so grateful for you
