How to Pick the Best Vegetables for the Spiralizer

If you didn’t see last Thursday’s post, I’m bringing you another new YouTube video! Every Thursday for the rest of the year, I’ll be posting new videos on my YouTube channel, so make sure you’re following me for updates!

Today’s video goes over the basic rules for a “spiralizable” vegetable, which is pretty much a visual explanation of this post.

Hope you enjoy!

Also, here is a sneak peek from a photo shoot I did in NYC with Sheena from Unique Lapin Photography. Can’t wait to share more!

  • Love the photos of you! You look fantastic and such cute clothes. Liked the video, too. I sometimes choose too skinny carrots. Eating my leftover butternut squash noodles with brussels, onions and walnuts. Drizzled with the pumpkin spice olive oil and cranberry white basalmic glaze. YUM!
  • thanks for all this great advice!
  • I left a printout of one of your spiralized recipes for my boyfriend to cook while I was at class the other night. Not only did he make the delicious harissa pepper kale chickpea zoodle dish.... but he even looked up your videos on how to spiralize a zucchini! I was so proud. Real men spiralize ;) Thanks for the great recipe!
  • Hello! Happy to have come across your post. I just bought my mum a spiralizer as a Christmas gift. She is wheat and dairy intolerant, and I thought this might give her some great options. Do you have some yummy recipes that I could include with her gift (so she knows what to do with this new kitchen tool :). Would be greatly appreciated. As a side note - I bought a spiralizer for myself - so looking forward to the range of recipes. I am sensitive to gluten so happy to have found your blog!
