I’m off on maternity leave!

Maternity Leave

I can’t believe it’s time to write this post, but I’m officially going on “maternity leave.”

I’ve struggled with how to approach this special time in my life. I love Inspiralized and this community so much, it’s hard to think of taking a step back, but I know that if there’s any reason to do so, it’s now.

I’m due September 20th, and I wanted to make this last couple of weeks a relaxing time for me, to really enjoy the early stages of motherhood, and not have any worries or focus other than this precious life that’s about to enter our lives.

Here’s what to expect while I’m away. OH, and if you want to see our maternity photoshoot, you can look at that here.

Because I’m a millennial and incapable of totally signing off, I’m sure I’m going to be on Instagram a bit (and certainly before the baby arrives), so if you want to see that obligatory newborn picture, you can follow along over on the Inspiralized Instagram.

However, I’m going to keep the Inspiralized channels baby-free for the most part and all of that will be on my personal/lifestyle account, @inspiralizedali. If you didn’t know, I have another blog! It’s all about my lifestyle – you can check it out here at Inspiralizedali.

As for the blog? I’ll be posting two new posts a week (Sundays and Wednesdays) – and they’ll all be guest posts by some of my favorite healthy food bloggers! I am so excited to introduce these lovely ladies to you all, and I am so grateful for their support as I transition into this new role as a Mommy!

And of course, Meaghan (our Brand & Community Manager) will be holding down the fort, so if you ever have any questions, you can direct them to her and she will know what to do and how to get to me if something is urgent. She’ll be keeping up our Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter pages, announcing new posts on Instagram when they’re live on the blog over on Instagram. Basically, she’ll be me for the first month or two, while I adjust to this new life! Thus, any commenting you see on any of our Inspiralized social channels or the blog will be ones from Meaghan, as I won’t be checking in so that I can take the time truly off with the baby.

You can reach Meaghan here, via e-mail. She also heads up our customer service for the Inspiralizer, so if you have any issues, she will take care of you!

Thank you so much for all of your support, excitement, and encouragement over the past 9 months. I’ve loved sharing this pregnancy and journey with all of you, and I plan on continuing to share in this positive, amazing community. Lu and I can’t wait to officially become parents and feel truly, truly blessed.

Wish us luck! All my love, Ali.
