putting together a console table

ever since Inspiralized moved out of our living room and into its own office space, I've had fun redecorating our living room space.

goodbye clutter! now, I can actually see the walls of my living room, they're not covered by shelving and stacks of papers. it's liberating, refreshing, and has helped me become more inspired and let my personal style shine even more.

goodbye clutter! now, I can actually see the walls of my living room, they’re not covered by shelving and stacks of papers. it’s liberating, refreshing, and has helped me become more inspired and let my personal style shine even more.

where my desk used to be, I decided to replace with a gorgeous gold console table, for some elegance and functionality. my biggest concern after moving everything into the office was storage space for office-like things, such as pens, paper, envelopes, etc.

thus, I styled the console table to keep all of those odds and ends covered, but stored. I wanted to keep the console table more of a decorative piece, not another storage unit (like it was before.)

most importantly, I wanted a place to keep some of our wedding photos! a couple of my favorites are now on display, along with some seasonal flora, which will get changed out based on the time of year, of course. right now, I’m really digging these cranberry twigs.

the print is the focal point of this console table area, which is bright, colorful, and abstract. the woven basket next to the console table complements the spunky colors of the print, too, don’t you think?

I’m loving how our living room is shaping up! next stop: our entryway (it is a DISASTER.)
