this weekend….
…Friday, after work, I flew to Florida to spend the weekend with my mom (for Mother’s Day) and my sister. my flight was delayed two hours, OF COURSE. got in, hung out a bit, and passed out.
…Saturday, we woke up, made breakfast, and went to Trader Joe’s to grab some snacks for the day – a raw nut mix of course for me and some dried mango slices. then, we hung out by the pool at my parents’ new home (they finally bought a house and are selling their condo.) we went to lunch (I had an amazingly delicious veggie burger) and then kept hanging out by the pool all day. then, we got ready, went out to dinner to a spot in West Palm Beach and got some frozen yogurt after. we came back home, watched a Lifetime movie (such a girls weekend) and everyone passed out – we were exhausted from the sun!
…Sunday, we woke up and my sister went for a run outside and my mother and I went to the gym in her condo building (they’re still living there until they fully move out in a couple of weeks) – I did a great 40 minute treadmill workout alongside my mom, who did some biking and running. after that, we got ready and headed to Nick and Johnnie’s in Palm Beach for a Mother’s Day brunch. I had a great egg white, avocado, quinoa breakfast bowl and a green juice. I love that restaurant – so cute, and the menu is great! after that, they drove me to the airport, where I had quite the flight home (read about that disaster here – hint: it involves an emergency landing). when I got home, I was exhausted, so we went to dinner and then came home and crashed.

this is on my wish list – a good maternity maxi dress that isn’t low cut in the front.
