what I’m into right now – 4.10.17

this weekend….

Friday, I didn’t get back to NJ after my trip to the Facebook HQ until about 6pm and I came home to Lu sick with flu-like symptoms. I was absolutely exhausted, so aside from unpacking, I watched a movie, made my two-ingredient pancakes for dinner, and passed out.

Saturday, we woke up at 5:15am, got ready, and drove up to the Boston area (Dedham, to be exact) for 2 two-hour spiralizing cooking class sessions at Whole Foods. it was a blast, but I felt bad that Lu was so sick, but he insisted on driving me (he’s been extra protective of me since the pregnancy began!). it was great to meet so many of my Inspiralized followers and make some delicious meals. afterwards, we drove all the way back to NJ (I know, we’re crazy) and literally collapsed. we ordered dinner in and went to bed early.

Sunday, I felt like a new woman! finally, NO MORE TRAVELING. I’m home for the next month with no traveling! it feels amazing! it was a very productive day, starting with SIGNING A LEASE ON A NEW APARTMENT! we had been searching for a 2BR for the past 90 days and finally found the perfect place. we wanted to stay in our building and we were getting nervous that nothing would open up, but it finally did and we officially signed the lease, starting may 1. so, let the packing begin! after that, we went for brunch to celebrate and to get Lu out of the house. after that, we walked around a bit to continue the fresh air and then Lu spent the rest of the day on the couch while I was super productive! cleaned, did laundry, worked out, did work, did some general spring cleaning. then I grocery shopped and made dinner! relaxed, watched GIRLS, and went to bed.

what I’m into RN…

I have to hold back from buying maternity clothes! I don’t really need it yet, I can still get by with my regular clothes, but everything’s so cute, like this eyelit off-the-shoulder dress.

BUT, I did buy these maternity workout bottoms and they’re so comfortable, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to regular workout spandex!

backcountry on netflix – the bear scene. OMG. I can’t stop thinking about it. have you seen this movie? I will NEVER go camping. ever.

our new apartment has an adorable breakfast nook off the kitchen, so I need to find a round dining table. I’ve been eyeing this one, but it’s way out of our budget. HALP! any lookalikes?

I discovered these while traveling in San Francisco and I just bought a 3-pack – they’re such a healthy, tasty snack – and can even double as breakfast on the go!

see you next week!

we’re flying back to new jersey on friday and already starting to miss it here in florida ☀️ the weather’s nice, but I’ll most miss all the time spent with our family together 🙏🏼 for the past (almost) 2 years, we’ve spent a lot of time in florida with my family and that’s been the silver lining of the pandemic 🙏🏼 right now, my grandmother is here and that time is extra special. I don’t think I’d ever have the chance to be with her for this amount of time otherwise, and I am so, so grateful for it 👵🏼💓 photos by @karlakorn 📸 ...
